Hello , I am facing a problem while using image cropper plugin on movable type 5.I found no problem in installing the plugin but when i tried generate thumbnail using the link coming as "Generate Thumbnails" I got a strange error as " failed loading package ImageCropper::Plugin for routine ImageCropper::Plugin::gen_thumbnails_start: Attempt to reload ImageCropper/ aborted. Compilation failed in require".

Please find the attached screen shot for the problem faced and also tell me if this plugin doesn't works with MT v5 then how to crop the images.

This plugin has not yet been upgraded to work with MT5. It is something we are in the process of doing but do not have a date yet as to when the upgrade will be ready.

Image Cropper relies on Config Assistant, which also needs to be upgraded, plus MT5 has a slightly different menuing system and UI that needs to be integrated with.

    Hi guys,
I've been waiting very patiently for this plugin to be updated for MT5 and am just curious if there's been any progress?

I realize that this is a volunteer effort for you guys, but Six Apart should contract you to update it... I bet a lot of people aren't going to MT5 because they rely on Image Cropper.

Might I suggest you lobby Six Apart on our behalf then? :) Because we do not currently have plans to update it for MT5.
